As I get set to hit up ‘Fashion Month’ once again, I can’t help but think of last London & Paris Fashion Week season. I feel so blessed that my job has been taking me to such amazing places and to witness such incredible moments of fashion. I’m so excited for next week and I absolutely cannot wait to show you all my looks!
One designer I absolutely admired at LFW last season was Vidhi Wadhwani. Ofcourse it helps that we share the same upbringing and diversity in this pool of international talent but I promise you my opinions are unbiased.
Vidhi Wadhwani aims to create unique, flattering, and feminine designs for the millennial, fashion-forward girl! Leaning away from the classic Indian styles we all know (and love!), I witnessed tons of unusual drapes and structuring, layered textures, and hand-woven detailing to completely transform typical outfits into something extraordinary.
I fell in love with both the outfits I chose to wear – one for her show at LFW and the other for a romantic evening in Lake Como, Italy. In my opinion, clothes are really a form of self expression and are a way to show the world who you are. For me, Vidhi Wadhwani’s designs do just that—they help me show the world that I dare to be different and that there’s nothing that can stop me from being me.
