3 Things That Make Me Feel More Confident

Instagram and the internet in general, can be rather deceptive. The sore truth is, I’m not always poised and definitive about my life, about the choices I need to make every single day and as a matter of fact, even my outfits! I have my valleys of emotions and sometimes, after going through the whole cycle of questioning, I end up realising what we all know – life is about uncertainty.

Your survival mechanisms will make you second guess everything – so it’s your job to find a way to remind yourself to continue feeling good about the one thing that matters the most – YOURSELF. I find myself repeatedly turning to a couple of things to make myself feel more confident, be it on an everyday basis or on important days. Here’s what works for me!

Style Meets Tech

I took my spanking new Nubia M2 out to play to a day packed with meetings and events and I’m excited to highlight my favorite features of the phone for you guys.

No guesses for what my favorite feature in a phone is. You have to have seen me on just one social media platform to have known that answer (and I have, well, 5). Duh, the camera! This phone kinda outdid my expectations when it came to this feature, because I was surprised with not just one, but two cameras.

Take Me To The Lavender Fields

What could be more romantic than escaping into a lavender field in the Wakatipu Valley of New Zealand? Pretty much nothing.

My blogger soul literally shrieked out when it saw these rows and rows of lavender bushes sitting pretty, just waiting for me to dive in. We stumbled upon this farm thanks to a random google search while scouting for things to do on a sunny day, and we consequentially landed up on Tripadvisor, which promised nothing but great reviews about Ben Lomond’s lavender farm run by an old couple and their passion for farming.

How I Decided My Blog Aesthetic X 1989Co.

Not sure how many of you here have been with me since the very beginning, but as you might know, there have been a COUPLE of name changes when it came to my blog, and generally, me as a fashion entity.

So I started back in 2009 with just Style Fiesta and a coupe of years down the line when I launched my brand, I kinda, committed to keeping the name the same for my blog and my brand. Obviously, wrong move. Too many confused readers + customers later, I decided to let my brand keep my hard-earned followers on Style Fiesta and set out to find a recognisably similar, but separate handle for myself.
