How To Gain REAL Instagram Followers & Increase Engagement #WomenInBusiness

I’m sure you are familiar with (atleast I hope you are) my #WomenInBusiness series that I launched on Youtube. You can check it out here if you haven’t. Why I started this campaign is another story altogether and rather long to get into here but to sum it up minus-ing all the emotion – this is where I’ll be talking about one of my greatest passions – the business of fashion, extensively.

Today we’re talking about how to gain real Instagram followers and increasing your engagement.

3 Things That Make Me Feel More Confident

Instagram and the internet in general, can be rather deceptive. The sore truth is, I’m not always poised and definitive about my life, about the choices I need to make every single day and as a matter of fact, even my outfits! I have my valleys of emotions and sometimes, after going through the whole cycle of questioning, I end up realising what we all know – life is about uncertainty.

Your survival mechanisms will make you second guess everything – so it’s your job to find a way to remind yourself to continue feeling good about the one thing that matters the most – YOURSELF. I find myself repeatedly turning to a couple of things to make myself feel more confident, be it on an everyday basis or on important days. Here’s what works for me!

Vegetarian & Instagram-Friendly Travel Guide To Zurich

Hey guys! As promised, I’ve put together a little travel guide of Zurich with all my favorite things to do and places to eat at. We’d initially planned this trip wanting to bring in the New Year in a snowy place, but much to our luck, it didn’t snow at all. I can’t be complaining about the weather one bit though, because we got the gorgeous winter sun and a whooping 10degree average everyday which is just pure bliss for this time of the year. It was our first ‘couple trip’ with our friends and we were definitely anxious about how that was going to go but voilaaa, success!! We had an amaaaazing time with them, fell in love with the city/cute town(?!), and had a 100% hit ratio with all our meals. Now, lets dive into the details!

LESSON #1 of Building A Winter Wardrobe

As I anticipated and prepared for my move to Belgium, it dawned upon me that life was not only getting me to Shailin, but also to yet another fashion opportunity! For the first time in my life, I was going to build a season specific wardrobe. I needed full blown Eskimo wear (yes, my indian skin froze to unconsciousness even at 12* in the beginning) and I found myself buying almost everything ‘wintery’ that caught my eye. If it fit my personal style, and ‘looked’ like it would keep my warm, it was an instant add to cart moment. Mistake numero uno.
