I’ve always been an ardent admirer of TIGI’s powerful branding, raw voice, funky packaging and a product that makes you want to really push limits with your hair and dive into experimentation. With every experience I share with TIGI, there’s one predominant thought in my head – ‘There’s really so much more we can do with our hair.’

It only helps when they indulge me in amazing hair-do’s for my fashion week looks at the #BedHeadHairSpace, literally saving the day for super lazy me. (And for the street style photographers who happen to find my outfits worthwhile). Or that they deliver a heaven-sent goodie bag AKA the TIGI Survival Kit with everything needed to outlive this crazy week right from portable chargers, an essential pack of ice-breakers, sanitiser, a mini-perfume, redbull, their After Party Smoothing Cream, Superstar Thickening Spray & more.
During Fashion Week last season, the TIGI experts walked us through 5 effortless DIY hairstyles that will make you want to want to move on from ‘casually letting your hair down’. A faux bob, voluminous curls, a rope braid, a fishtail braid and sleek waves. Thanks to my super straight and soft hair ((I shouldn’t complain), which tends to get a bit lifeless at times, my favorite of the lot was the voluminous waves. I’m going to take you through the steps as told by the experts at the end of this post so you can get a little glimpse of what went down in the masterclass.
In other news, TIGI also launched Copyright Color with Andy Cheong, Regional Education Director, Pan-Asia,  which is a range of gorgeous hair colors that come in permanent as well as semi-permanent variants. Andy took us through the art of intermixing different colors (the range consists of a permanent, demi-permanent, high lift, pure mix tones, powder lighteners and activators), to create an infinite number of shades. So perfect for finding a hair color that is quintessentially you.

DIY Voluminous Curls with TIGI
· Shampoo your hair with TIGI’s Epic Volume Shampoo conditioner
· Apply some Ego Boost as a leave in conditioner on the mids to ends to soften the frizz.
· Then taking small sections about 2 square inches in size and start curling the hair keeping the curling iron horizontal.
· You can spray Masterpiece on each section before you use the heated tools to help the curl to last longer
· Continue the process till the entire hair is sectioned away
· Now let it cool and open all the clips, use a brush to open up all the curls, take a dollop of Manipulator, spread it through your palms and start applying in onto the thickest parts of the hair and then using a scrunching action apply it all the way till the ends

Featuring : ASOS Exclusive Petite Skirt in Tulip Print from FLYROBE (Rs 300)

Flyrobe – India’s first fashion rental app is my latest treasure trove in app discoveries, and I’m uber excited to spill all the details because I’m sure you all are going to love it! Flyrobe lets you rent branded and designer clothing and accessories at a fraction of their MRP & the experience is further enhanced with a 3-hour delivery time (hello emergencies?!?), and the multiplicity of collections under apparel, bags & jewellery.
I found the concept to be super interesting and after letting my besties in on it, it got lost somewhere in my dozen app folders. Suddenly, a week later, I was heading out for a huge meeting and all my work clothes were either too boring and/or too casual and quirky. I needed to look like I meant business. AKA ‘ditch your black trousers and look like you make a killing’ look.
I had heaps of work for my big meeting and running out to the mall was out of the question. I quickly logged into Flyrobe, scrolled over to their ‘Formals’ section and suddenly I had so many alternatives that fit perfectly into my demands. I was immediately attracted to the strong presence that this ASOS tulip print skirt in a darker teal created and I’m sure I could dish out my work essentials to style this statement piece to achieve a corporate, yet stylish ensemble. This skirt was delivered to me spotlessly ironed, in a hanger along with a cover and accompanied with a free accessory to help amp up the look – how cute!
The Flyrobe model encourages us to wear a new outfit every time we go out, with the fear of never having to repeat. All my speculations of renting an outfit, considering that it could have been used by someone else, were completely ruled out after seeing the condition of the skirt when it was delivered to me.
Flyrobe saved my day and you’ve got to get it because it might just save yours too 🙂 Use the code ‘MASOOM’ while checking out & you’ll get 25% OFF your order. Download here!

And if you were wondering..I really did nail that meeting. More on that later 😉

What I’m Wearing : Zara top, Topshop jeans, Bershka shirt, Furla bag, Style Fiesta sunglasses and bracelets, Nike Roshe sneakers

I’m not a Sneaker girl but this stunning pair of Roshe’s and its ideology of lifestyle sneakers is quickly converting me into one. My Roshe’s, true to their ‘Zen’ nature, are super light and minimalistic and just for the fact that they’re disrupting one of the biggest brands synonymous to sportswear into a fashionable space, deserve some cheerleading.
I already own 3 and knowing my shopping habits, its only an upward climb..

What I’m Wearing : Pyjamas by Clovia

It’s these cozy rainy September mornings (Yes, its still pouring for miles here in Mumbai) that make me want to curl up in my comfiest, snuggle-friendly pyjama sets with nothing but a good book and a phone on airplane mode.
While buying nightwear, there’s really only a couple of factors I tend to focus on and these Clovia pyjamas ticked all rather instantly. Comfort, pretty colors, and a fabric so soft, you’re compelled to snooze somewhere in between. Oh, and it only helps if they’re sleepover-approved 🙂

For my night wardrobe, I chose one snug cotton set with a quirky quote and one smooth satin pyjama with a gorgeous floral and lace detail. Clovia also does an amazing range of lingerie and accessories which you can check out here

What I’m Wearing : House Of Blouse blouse, H&M Conscious collections Pallazo’s, Necklace from boutique in Jaipur, Style Fiesta ring & Bershka shoes

It’s that time of life when friends engagements are occurring in the form of a domino effect. Followed by heaps of happiness and celebrations, there’s one looming doubt on everyone’s mind; enough Indian outfits for an over-packed December calendar?
With the many sub-divisions in our elaborate department of Indian clothing, between all the lehengas, dhoti’s and saree’s, there’s one element that remains constant. The blouse.
I recently discovered House Of Blouse, an online platform dedicated to the customization of ‘Blouses’ and I couldn’t help but find the need to share my experience with you, considering, like me, you might just be in the dire need to stock up for the festive season.
The process of ‘creating a blouse’ was easy-enough and the only time I had any difficulty was when I was spoilt rotten with the array of permutations and combinations possible. I wanted to customize a blouse that I could use with a lehenga but also with a mini skirt, something with a contemporary touch to our Indian aesthetics, a garment I could possibly wear to a wedding but also to a brunch. During the designing process, I was completely assured of the outcome, thanks to the fact that I could see my to-be blouse in real time while I made changes and tweaks to it; assuring me of the end product I was paying for. I was rather skeptical about the sizing given that I’m somewhere between a XS & S and in precaution I included a note (you can do this while you’re on the sizing page) stating the length of the blouse and elaborating on my body type. But I needn’t have worried, the blouse fit like a dream, which is evident from the photos above.
I chose a sleeveless boat neck (although I had a hard time leaving the crop top style behind) with a regular blouse length, a back opening and a single dart cut; essential if you want to wear it with a Western twist.
House Of Blouse ships worldwide, with standard delivery of 15 days and rush-delivery, for those last minute glam needs, in 7 days.
