The Tutu Trend

What I’m Wearing – Mustard Shirt from Zara, Marks & Spencer shoes, H&M bracelet, skirt, sunglasses and bag from
As soon as I laid my eyes on this skirt, I knew it was one for the win. Pair it with absolutely any top in your closet – be it a printed shirt, solid pleated top or a sleeveless tank. As you know, this tutu is not the most conventional of outfit choices but all you really need to flaunt it is a pinch of confidence.

Chubby Love with Strut120 & Clinique

As you all must have assumed based on my lack of makeup posts, I’m a lost soul when it comes to beauty. Since recently I have been putting in tremendous effort to brush up those skills, and once I get there, expect an overload of makeup& beauty posts. Till then however, I found my solace in the cutest lip accessory you can find – Clinique’s Chubby Sticks. Super moisturizing and glossy as well, Chubby is your perfect strike between a lip balm and lip gloss. Its already become a handbag staple and I find myself rubbing it on right before I leave home for work for a fresh rosy look. Subtle, yet striking!
My favorite part however, was using this Chubby Stick as a stainer on your cheeks. Its nourishing personality moisturizes your skin and the soft color leaves your cheeks glistening with a dash of sweet color.
Strut120 hosted a fab party to share the love of this crayon-looking lip accessory and it was everything a girls perfect outing is made of – fabulous fashion, great company, an oversized candy jar and a personal makeup advice session with an expert.

Personally, I’m way over peplums. And yet I find myself loving the unfamiliar twists to the average peplum popping up in every nook and corner of fashion retail. So what do you do when a trend is unmistakably a season old and you still melt at its slightest glance?
I’ve got the answer – Wear it the unconventional way.
To maintain the protruding structure you (and I) would commonly wear it with super skinny jeans. Here’s the catch. Instead of attempting to strike a balance with your outfit simply turn up the volume and pair it with maximizing pallazo pants or a skirt. You’ll instantly win bonus points for restructuring a  common, probably overseen trend into a stunning outfit.
